What is this?

Kim & Kaylie: Kibble Chase is a simple, 2D, 8-bit-style, Pac-Man-esque browser game based on my two real cats, Kim and Kaylie. Two cats race around a maze eating kibble - whoever eats the most wins, and bumping into your opponent stuns whichever cat has eaten less. Play solo against a computer-controlled cat, or against a friend online.

How it was made

This game was built through a conversation with Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant - no prior coding done by hand. The visuals run on a game toolkit called Phaser; the multiplayer matches are refereed by a small server running on Cloudflare; and every update gets automatically published to this live site within a minute or two of being made, without needing to touch a terminal.
